Overview

The "Latest activity" is an overview of your account's recent activity. This is a dashboard of Insight. Tapping buttons opens interesting item in Projects tab or Safari for files and writeboards.

Projects

Insight groups your projects just like Basecamp does - by status (choose between viewing active and archived projects), and lists them by company.

In addition Insight highlights projects that were updated since your last visit.

Messages

Insight supports viewing recent and all (archived) messages. You can also use category filter just like you do it in Basecamp.

Additing and editing messages support linking to categories and milestones, making them private, or you can delete existing messages.

To-Do

Manage your to-do lists and to-do items in "To-Do" section. With Insight you can do most things you'd expect from Basecamp:

• Create new to-do lists (milestone linking included)
• Edit or delete existing to-do lists
• Reorder to-do lists
• Add to-do items
• Edit or delete existing to-do items
• Reorder current (uncompleted) to-do items
• Assign any person (company) on the project for to-do items
• View and post comments on to-do items
• Use time tracking on to-do items (if your Basecamp account includes Time Tracking feature)

In addition to items' responsible visible by default, Insight will give you more vital information - task owner (creator) and date of creation, for completed tasks - you can view who completed item and when.

Milestones

Get a complete Basecamp look-and-feel with milestones. It supports almost everything Basecamp is capable of:

• Create new milestones
• Edit milestones with "Shift future milestones" option
• Delete existing milestones
• Complete/reopen milestones
• Assigning milestones to any person (company) on the project
• View and post comments

Time tracking

If you Basecamp account includes Time tracking feature, Insight allows you to track time on you projects.

This feature is currently in beta, so you can only view 50 latest entries and cannot edit/delete existing time entries.

Contacts

Insight allows you to view all companies and people on any project. The contact preview behaves just like contact view from you Address Book - you can email or phone your clients directly from Insight. You can also add new contacts from Basecamp to your Address Book, or you can update your Address Book records with information from Basecamp.
